Merry Christmas baby.....

We had a great Christmas this year. It was more on the quiet side, and it was pleasant! The kids got what they wanted, and seemed very happy. Ethan was way excited to open presents! He was also just as happy to get hotwheel cars in his stocking. Go figure! heehee Sienna was pleased with all the gadgets she got and Summer was happy to go do some day after shopping with what money Santa had left her. I am happy to make fresh bread in my bread maker, and now my "wall" is complete as Doug would say. I now have my sled i used when I was young, the back to the future skateboard (which he "swindled" back from Tara...she did an awesome job on restoring it... I'm just really shocked she agreed, and Doug attempted! Thanks Tara!) and my Kemper snowboard from when I was a teenager. So those who visit, ask to see it! :) and Doug is happily playing his lego games on his DS and Wii!

Christmas is done, time to recover!

The sun has set not long ago

now everybody goes below

to take a bath in one big tub

with soap all over scrub scrub scrub

They hang their towels up on the wall

and find pajamas big and small

with some on top and some beneath

they brush and brush and brush their teeth

and when the moon in on the rise

they all go up to

Thus to a great day filled with Christmas fun! It came and now its done. Now just 364 more days until the fun begins again. I will take this break for all its worth and try to plan ahead for next years work. I will do my best to get the shopping done so that I can enjoy the holiday without running around!

I guess he isn't a fisherman anymore! Hes now a punk rocker....he even went so far as to get the neighbor snowman to turn punk!!! What has it come to??

Winter Wonderland!

Can I just say that we are SO happy to have this snow!!! The kids are having SO much fun in it! Ethan surprised us all... He just took to it like a duck to water! I think I have a snowboarding buddy! *grin* It was so beautiful this morning at 1am...it was so bright, almost like day time. I was so taken back by the beauty. Looking at the pine trees, it reminded me of when I was a kid... I wish we lived where it snowed more...and the kids had snow gear so they could enjoy the snow like I did as a kid! But this for now works! Enjoy the few pictures I posted....

Seasonal stress....

Am I the only one feeling this? Or is any one else with me? I swear today esp. I have been so bugged by Doug (yes he knows this) and the kids , really... as I was typing Summer barges in the room...PLEASE STOP! I can say that I'm so glad Christmas is almost here and it will be done with! I just hate how I wait, along with my sweetie Doug....how we wait until the last few days to get everything done! Not to mention the company Christmas party was planed TODAY! good heck! *sigh* I want to go out and get a few things, but it is snowing, and very cold. I just might. I dunno.... Cant it be over yet?

Fun with leaves!

We finally have a tree that drops enough leaves for the kids to have fun in! This is one thing I remember as a kids loving to do. I'm glad that they get to experience it. Maybe one year we will have to take our rakes and hit some BIG leaf givers, so that they can really experience the fun!

We have a Winner!!!!

Sienna entered a photo this year in her schools reflections contest. We were up in SLC for our 24 hour round trip and on the way home we passed some train tracks. So we got out to take some pictures. She took a shot of the train track then some of the crossing sign. At first she was all about the crossing sign, but when she saw the pictures in real life, she opted for her "Autumn tracks" as she named it! Well she won! They didn't give 1,2,3 and so on....but they did get a medal and shes of to district! She did so well! Doug and I are so very happy for her! She really needed something like this.

Who knows, maybe we will have another photo person in our family! :)

Black Friday

I cant believe that this year I finally did the whole crazy black Friday rush! Allie and I met up with some other at wally world and did our thing. Let me just say I have never been pushed around, by men who are at least a foot taller then me, before! I guess someone started to open the crates before the 5 am time... I got my camera that I was trying to get thanks to a old friend of mine... she was able to grab me one :) But as I was walking to my next "try and get" I heard a lady over the loud speaker saying "IT IS NOT 5 O'CLOCK YET, DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING, IT IS NOT 5 O'CLOCK!!!!" Laughing to myself thinking there is no way anyone is going to "stop" I looked at my phone and it was 5:54.... I just giggled. Amongst the craziness of it all , I was able to get what I was after... I was also able to find a line that didn't wrap around the store either!


Allie and I were then off to Krumpets. It wasn't too crazy, but when one of the workers said that the other Krumpets was "slow" we hurried over there. It was less busy. We then went to sonic, then to Walgreen's, then to albertsons, then to burger king, then to target... WHOLLY COW! they had the most crazy lines... then to the dollar store then to game stop then to the bloominton wal-mart then we made our way home! I can remember what time that was, but we had a blast!


I have to say that next black friday I think I will try buying the items online... You can do that...I think I rather wake up at 4:50 then go back to bed! lol Hopefully my fingers are fast! :)


But that was my fun time with black friday! :)

Im so excited!!!

Doug finally took this picture into Design to Print and is having it printed out onto a canvas type material!! I cant wait to see how it turns out. Its going to be about a poster size print! I'm so excited! It was one of my favorite pictures I took this spring. I love the colors in it!

It has happened...

Ethan this morning opened his own door from his bedroom. *sigh* He used to wait in his bed until we came and got him out. But he has now found that he can get himself out. He even did this after his nap!

I'm just freaked at what nights are going to be like. Is he going to wander in the bedroom and scare me half to death! The girls used to do this, come right up to your face... talk about creep you out.

Well here's to Ethan growing up! Everyday is something new... :)

One of my weakness

It only comes out for a few months a year, and when it does I surely take in my fair share of the creamy goodness! This time around I found one that has half the fat and 30% less calories! It is soooooo good! I have to admit, I eat the whole half gallon myself. Its truly a sad thing for me to do, but after the day is done and the kidlins are in bed, well I cant help myself to a small "ikea" bowl of the goodness! Add a few second in the microwave, and a small "baby"sized spoon...well its lasts and I get to enjoy every last bite. mmmmm hummmm! I'm not sure how long it takes me to "finish" the half gallon... but I do enjoy it. The poor kids, I think have come to terms to not ask for "moms" ice cream! heehee. I know I am a meanie! haahaa Oh well! :)

Is it me?

Or do the days seem longer? I swear that the mornings last forever! Ever since the time change it feels as if the days are dragging! Even the weeks seem to be going by slower! What is going on?

Yet another reason to rid daylight savings!

I miss my Sasie

Shes been gone for about 6 months now. We have NO clue at what happened to her. She went out one day and never came back :( She was a sweet loving kitty. Always would go to bed with me. I remember when she got mad at me for bringing home Bandit. It took her a good month before she would go to sleep with me again! I miss her squeaks, and her cute one white eyebrow whisker. She was a sweetie!

Happy Halloween!

Here are some pictures we took on Halloween and one of Ethan from the trunk or treat. It was WAY to hot to dress him in his frog costume! I didn't have any of Summer, so I stole this one from Cori's blog... THANKS!

Ethan had a BLAST going "trick or tricking" He was always ahead of Sienna and would always ask "one?" meaning another house please...lol He would also go running to the next house. He enjoyed it. But as for the candy, well that was different. He didn't care to eat any of his candy other then the m&m's. So I guess we were lucky!

Hours that is!

Sienna and I went up north to get her a dresser since the one Summer and her were sharing stayed in Summers room. So off we went! We left at about 1pm drove up to SLC and swung in to my good friend Kahlia's home. Kahlia, Finn, and I then went to IKEA! That store is SO big, but I love it! Kahlia had never been there, so she went with me! We had a great time. We then went to dinner at Astro Burger, yummy! I had an enjoyable time chatting with her! I sure do miss that she doesn't live here anymore! Maybe on day they will move back! :) But anyhow... after dinner we went back to her home and hung out. The girls were having a great time! as you can see in the photos! Ryan was a sweetheart and watched and fed them while we were gone! We stayed up until 11 or maybe it was later...but then it was off to bed! In the morning we got up and headed back home. The weather was nasty! But we made it! We had a great time in that 24 hour window! Thanks again Kahlia! I miss ya girlie!
